Observation Links – Farm Equipment – Combine Harvester

All too often these days tractors and other agricultural vehicles are much wider than the roads they travel on. If you can get as much advanced warning of one coming the better. I have found that as the combine havesters get bigger, they no longer tow the cutting table behind them. More often than not they are towed by another vehilce which often preceeds the combine – Gives a heads up on whta might be coming…In this clip it did as the combine filled the road, before it saw us appraching and pulled over a little.

Good to see the moving over to the left with the truck coming, dont play chicken with a truck and possible car behind moves to overtake not seeing the bike because its in the crown of the road, nice

@VMATT500C The combines used to tow the cutting behind them ,but they are getting bigger and you often see support vehicles with them now……..

Sometimes drivers your following slam there brakes on when they see a large farm tractor/ combine coming the other way……………another thing to watch out for. Small goods lorrys are the worst for this.
