New Holland T8040 Seat Problem?
ive got a new holland t8040 tractor and i have a problem with the seat, the lateral isolator isn’t working (that makes the seat float a short distance side to side). the clip thing to engage it is in the ‘engaged’ position but it is stuck and wont move to ‘off’ position. ive been to my dealer and they had a look at it but they couldn’t fix it, whats wrong with it?

Open the engine up, cut the first red wire you see. That should solve the problem with the seat. This is a known issue.
