i have one that probalbly sat for a year the same model 1980 i reallly would like to start driving it have any tips for the cold start
Check the water and oil, fully charge the battery, give the glow plugs plenty of heat for half a minute and then go for it! Should do the trick hopefully!
Only problem is, if you clutch has seized up due to lack of use. If it is put it in gear and try pulling it with a car until the clutch free’s himself.

@bulletnjm yes leave the tractor in gear while you tug it and it should release eventually. Good luck!

When you buy the tractor do you have to choose to get hydraulics installed or can you install them later on
@TractorManish some tractors have axuillary ports already on them but if not you can always get a pto hydraulic pump and put it on any tractor
