How to Lift Your Lawn Tractor/ Mud Mower

so ive decided to lift my tractor. I know alot of you will bve saying i shoulda used suspension in it but im not gunna be riding this thing alot and not too intensly and i dont got money to spend on shocks and suspension so it is a low budget build, thanks for watching!!!

    u have some good welding skills!!!!!!!!!!! i have been welding sence i was 7 or 8 cuz my dad welds for a living. i will put a video of the welder me and my dad are goin to get going agin. its a lincoln cracker box welder. it is 300lb.

    u should just use air shocks. like the ones one the back door of a suv to hold the trunk door up

    @dragata1 haha thanks bro and im 15 and been welding for 4 years :P this is without gas, you should see my stick welding and oxy-axetelyene welding! those are nice!

    @arild365 nice i have a cheap arc welder my welds suck bad now i can weld engine blocks with no prob and i can make u a steel tranny for your mower but its not cheap i also know how to make a mower tranny water cooled lol

    Your welding’s getting better bud.
    Be interested to see how you do the rear. If I was going to lift a tractor I’d probably only do half that, but that’s just me. Looks pretty mean though. Cant wait to see the rest

    good luck with the lift man is the belt side shaft? they are easy to jack up

    how have you done your wireing so you can start it w/ jumper cabels ….. i have an 18hp and ive been trying to start it like that but im cuting all the eletrical off it so i just use the battery and jumper cabels … if you could make a vid and i like the lift

    ok ive ben workin on the 18 hp and ive got it down to 3 wirers that come out the engine close to the carb wat do i do with thes wires

    okay i have a 1974 dynamark and i had the same problem, the tranny was still partly iin gear and he probably rolled in first at some point the jumper cable is to ground it, i used a flat head screw driver to connect the two ignition bolts and that spun the cyloenoid and it cranked right up, if you want to fix this roll it backwards in first gear until it stops rolling and it should crank withot bypassing the ignition

    and instead of extending the sterring bracket extend the frame and put the battery under the hood, this leaves room for engine overhang and ventilhates it better, water and batteries dont mix my friend

    haha i have a craftsman i painted the general lee color and call it the general lee tractor but never put 01 on the side or the Confederate flag lol
