Farm Tractor Fuel Use
Can jet fuel be used in diesel engine semi trucks and farm tractors?
It is possible to do this, but it’s not a good idea. Jet fuel – kerojet (kerosene) – has chemical properties such that it does not combust at the same temperature and pressure in a diesel engine than diesel fuel does.
It is a good deal spendier per gallonm than no. 2 diesel anyways, so why speculate?
